At Meyzeek Middle School PTSA, our mission is to organize and support parent, student and teacher involvement and collaboration in each child's education.  We believe that when families and communities advocate for children, we build a stronger community and help every child reach their full potential.

We are dedicated to working in conjunction with families, teachers and administrators to create the best school where each child can thrive.  Our programs designed to foster this goal include:

• Funding extracurricular activities such as sports teams, academic teams, and clubs
• Supporting behavior incentives, like Meyzeek's R.O.A.R. program and celebrations for academic achievement
• Sponsoring social events to build a sense of community, including dances, school parties, fall festivals, trivia nights and more
• Supporting teachers and staff with appreciation events, fundraising assistance, and parent outreach
• School beautification to help students develop a sense of pride in Meyzeek
• Love the Library to ensure all students have access to a well-stocked library to explore literacy, research and their imaginations!

Our biggest goal is to foster a sense of community for parents, guardians, students, teachers and administrators.  We believe that we are stronger together and that each child benefits from a community pulling to see them succeed.  Our short term goal in this regard is to have a large membership of 500 individuals supporting our mission.  Our long term goal is to have those individuals find a way to get involved and inspire a love of Meyzeek that can pass on from year to year!
