Jennifer Barbour is the mother of Ella Zubaty, a rising 6th grader, and Gabe Zubaty, a 2025 Meyzeek graduate who is now attending duPont Manual's MST program. She joined the PTSA board in 2023-2024 as the Vice President of Programs because she wanted to help create a sense of community for our students, teachers, staff and parents/guardians. She believes "Middle school is a tough time for kids, so building a strong community where they feel valued and a sense of belonging is important."
In her spare time, she loves spending time with as many dogs as she can, including her four. She also serves on the Board of Louisville Girls Leadership. She also loves to cook and travel.
She is a native of Charlottesville, Virginia. After obtaining her BA in American Politics and Comparative History from the University of Virginia, she moved to Louisville to attend UofL’s law school. She's been an attorney for 17 years, and started a Gray Ice Higdon, PLLC, a law firm specializing in intellectual property, commercial litigation, and corporate transactions, with 13 partners in December 2022. There, she focuses on corporate litigation and fiduciary claims.
Bill Zubaty's daughter, Ella, is a rising 6th grader, and his son, Gabe, is a 2025 graduate of Meyzeek heading to Manual's MST program. When the 2024-2025 Board couldn’t be formed because no one had volunteered to be the Treasurer, Bill stepped up to the plate and took on the role. When asked why he was willing to help, Bill said, “I appreciate all the teachers and staff do to make Meyzeek a great school, so it’s the least I could do.”
In his spare time, Bill loves listening to history podcasts, hiking, and traveling. Bill is a veteran of the US Army, having been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan with the 187th Airborne Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division.
A native of Warsaw, Kentucky, Bill attended NKU where he obtained a BA in Political Science and History. After enlisting in the Army and being honorably discharged, he hiked the Appalachian trail from start to finish to decompress. He then moved to Louisville to attend UofL and obtained his Master’s degree in public policy. Bill is currently employed by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
